Yes! You Need to Tell Your Real Estate Agent if You Stop Making Your Mortgage Payments
When you listed your home for sale, you were current on your mortgage payments. Then you stopped making the payments but didn't tell your real estate agent.
When you have a listing contract with an Idabel Oklahoma Real Estate Agent, you need to keep them informed about any thing important concerning the home.
- You've decided that since the home is for sale, you don't need to make the mortgage payments? Call your real estate agent and discuss your situation.
- The storm last week took your roof off, call your real estate agent.
- Your in-laws are moving in with you? Call your real estate agent.
- You had a fire in the kitchen last night? Call your real estate agent?
- You received a letter that the city is considering re-zoning the land across the street ? Call your real estate agent.
- The house next door burned to the ground last night? Call your real estate agent.
Some things you might not consider important, but your real estate agent might still need to know. They are marketing your home and need to be kept informed about anything that changes the home, changes it's marketing, changes the showing situations, changes the neighborhood such as a zoning change, changes the mortgage or liens associated with the home, etc. etc.
Get my drift?
In fact, some things that change will need to be disclosed on the property condition disclosure form and the soon er the better!
Just like you expect your real estate agent to keep you informed about what they are doing associated with the selling of your home, they expect you to keep them informed too!
